Worked on the seapath/ansible repository to enhance deployment flexibility and reliability by introducing distribution detection within the deployment playbook, enabling standalone execution across diverse hosts. Addressed a critical issue in the VM XML configuration template by correcting a misplaced quote, which resolved errors related to direct interface definitions. Leveraged Ansible for automation and configuration management, utilizing Jinja and YAML to render robust, adaptable templates. Demonstrated careful version control practices with clear, well-documented commits and consistent sign-offs. The work focused on aligning playbooks and templates to support flexible deployments, ultimately improving the robustness and maintainability of the automation workflow.
