Worked on enhancing the digital representation of Les Caractères in the cschuwey/UBS_M1_TEI repository by delivering TEI annotation and metadata improvements. Applied expertise in XML and TEI to expand glosses, introduce new paragraphs, refine notes metadata, and add entities, bibliographic entries, and glyph declarations, thereby enriching the scholarly edition’s structure and searchability. Addressed a critical bug by correcting a glyph description typo to ensure accurate interpretation of remarks. Demonstrated disciplined version control and iterative development through multiple commits, resulting in improved data fidelity, metadata accuracy, and downstream processing for digital humanities research and XML-based scholarly workflows.
