Worked on DEFRA’s backend systems, focusing on stabilizing CI/CD pipelines and modernizing the data API platform. Addressed build reliability in the DEFRA/epr-prn-common-backend repository by introducing a Directory.Build.props file to default the AzureBuild flag, preventing unintended Entity Framework migrations during CI after a .NET 10 upgrade. Upgraded six projects in DEFRA/epr-common-data-api to .NET 10, harmonized API controller logic, and updated dependencies such as Microsoft.Data.SqlClient and HealthChecks. Leveraged C#, ASP.NET Core, and Docker to improve maintainability, align static analysis with SonarQube, and ensure compatibility across new build agents, supporting faster and more reliable feature delivery.
