Worked on the Strapi design-system repository to enhance the reliability and accessibility of the Menu component. Focused on resolving a bug where the disabled prop was not correctly applied when using the asChild prop, ensuring that the disabled state is now accurately reflected in both the user interface and component behavior. Implemented a targeted fix using React and TypeScript, and added a regression test to safeguard against similar issues in the future. This work improved UI consistency and reduced edge-case bugs, while strengthening test coverage around interactive components. Demonstrated skills in component development, front end engineering, and automated testing practices.
