Worked on stabilizing the AI-Pin build process in the atopile/atopile repository by addressing a critical import resolution issue. Focused on improving reliability and maintainability, the work involved fixing a bug where part imports failed due to incomplete search paths, ensuring package directories were properly included. Refactored internal helper functions to enhance accessibility and enable effective caching, which improved the efficiency of project directory lookups and reduced build failures. Leveraged Python and core development skills, with an emphasis on caching and configuration management, to deliver isolated, well-documented changes that streamline future iterations of the AI-Pin build workflow for developers.
