Worked on the Homebrew/homebrew-cask repository to address deployment integrity by fixing a critical bug related to checksum validation for Retrospective 7.1.0 redeployments. Focused on ensuring that redeployed versions maintained correct checksums, the work involved updating checksum logic and validating it against various redeployment scenarios to prevent future regressions. Leveraged Ruby and package management expertise to enhance the reliability of the deployment process, reducing the risk of installation errors and minimizing potential customer support issues. Documented all changes and aligned them with established release processes, contributing to improved traceability and overall release hygiene within the Homebrew/homebrew-cask project.
