During December 2025, Marlyn Fen developed and delivered the Nanocaf Coffee Variant feature for the ARF-SS13/coyote-frontier repository, expanding the game’s beverage mechanics with a new drink option that introduces unique properties and effects for players. Marlyn approached the task using YAML configuration and FTL scripting, ensuring the new content integrated smoothly with existing game systems while maintaining localization standards. The work focused on enhancing gameplay variety and player engagement without introducing instability, as no major bugs were reported or fixed during this period. Collaboration across pull request workflows was emphasized, reflecting a commitment to both content depth and code quality.
