Worked on the microsoft/AzureTRE repository to address a stability issue in Databricks Metastore configuration. Delivered a targeted bug fix by updating the databricks-udr.json file, adding missing metastoreDomains entries to prevent potential outages and ensure continuous Databricks service availability. The solution involved careful configuration management using JSON and leveraged skills in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, and Terraform. The change was validated through code review and testing, improving maintainability and traceability of the configuration. This work reduced the risk of service disruption for Databricks-integrated workflows and contributed to the reliability of cloud-based data infrastructure within the AzureTRE environment.
