Worked on stabilizing Salt-based provisioning for the supabase/postgres repository by addressing configuration management issues using Ansible and YAML. Focused on cleaning up the Salt APT repository configuration, specifically removing redundant .list file extensions to prevent deployment drift and reduce provisioning failures. Updated PostgreSQL version strings in the configuration to ensure alignment with target environments, which improved release reliability and simplified ongoing maintenance. Triggered the release automation process by bumping the AMI version, ensuring that deployments reflected the latest changes. The work emphasized deterministic environment parity and contributed to more reliable and maintainable DevOps workflows within the project’s infrastructure.
