Contributed to the bazelbuild/rules_apple and bazelbuild/rules_swift repositories by delivering targeted enhancements in build system configuration and documentation over a two-month period. Focused on improving developer onboarding and toolchain compatibility, this work included updating default simulator settings to align with Xcode 15 and iOS 17, as well as refining documentation to clarify mixed-language framework options and the SWIFT_FEATURE_SUPPRESS_WARNINGS flag. Leveraged Starlark, Bzl, and Markdown to ensure technical accuracy and maintainability. The approach emphasized clear commit messaging and in-repo documentation, supporting future maintenance and reducing misconfiguration risks without introducing public API changes or bug fixes.
