Worked on the ansys/pyaedt repository to address a critical issue in the Circuit Modeler’s component path resolution. Applied core Python and object-oriented programming skills to refine the logic, enabling the system to leverage the model data filename when available and consult CosimDefinitions for CosimDefName or GRef to determine the correct path. This targeted bug fix improved the reliability of circuit component linking, reducing modeling errors and enhancing automation workflows. Expanded and updated unit tests to cover the new logic, which reduced regression risk and improved maintainability for future changes, demonstrating a methodical approach to core development and bug fixing.
