Developed the foundational HeroDB client library for the freeflowuniverse/herolib repository, enabling seamless integration with the HeroDB API through a functional JSON-RPC client. Focused on backend development and client-server architecture, the work established reliable methods for connecting to the HeroDB API, listing available database instances, and parsing backend metadata. The implementation, written in V and leveraging JSON-RPC protocol handling, laid the groundwork for future feature expansion and streamlined data access. By delivering a reusable client surface, the project accelerated developer onboarding and set a clear path for downstream enhancements, emphasizing commit-driven development and robust API client design principles.
