Worked on upgrading the PulseView package in the NixOS/nixpkgs repository, focusing on improving build reliability and traceability for downstream users. The project involved migrating the source retrieval method from a generic git fetch to a GitHub-specific fetch, which required updating the revision, hash, and version string to match the latest unstable release. This approach ensured that the package remained current and reproducible within the Nix ecosystem. Leveraging expertise in build systems, package management, and the Nix language, the work maintained CI pipeline integrity and contributed to more transparent and dependable package updates for the NixOS community.
