During November 2024, Zha5sb enhanced the uva-math-code repository by developing a feature that adds pronoun information to graduate student profiles, supporting more accurate personal identification and inclusivity on the department website. Zha5sb approached this work with a focus on clear documentation, using Markdown to update and maintain records linked to the new profile data field. All changes were tracked through version control, ensuring a transparent and auditable commit history. While the scope did not require bug fixes, the work demonstrated disciplined change management and attention to detail, resulting in a maintainable feature that improves data clarity for end users.
