Worked on the Shopify/rails repository to enhance data integrity within autosave workflows using Ruby on Rails and back end development skills. Focused on refining autosave association validation, the work prevented invalid records from being saved and reinforced the handling of nested attributes. Dedicated tests were introduced to validate these nested attributes and to ensure that deletions did not violate existing validation rules. By addressing a specific bug, the changes stabilized complex model interactions and reduced the risk of defects in autosave scenarios. This targeted approach improved test coverage, minimized regression risk, and contributed to safer, more reliable releases for the project.
