Contributed to the NVIDIA/linux-firmware repository by integrating AMD Neural Processing Unit (NPU) firmware support. This work involved adding binary firmware files and the associated license, as well as updating the WHENCE documentation to reference the new amdxdna driver and its firmware requirements. The integration enabled upstream support for AMD NPU hardware within the Linux ecosystem, ensuring that the necessary binaries and licensing information are available for distribution. The technical approach focused on firmware integration using binary files and careful documentation updates, providing a foundation for broader NPU compatibility in Linux distributions. No bug fixes were recorded during this period.
