Worked on the panther_analysis_tool repository to enhance the CI/CD workflow, focusing on optimizing pull request validation for external contributors. Developed a feature using YAML and GitHub Actions that detects formatting changes in forked pull requests and provides actionable feedback to contributors when manual formatting is required. The solution intelligently skips GPG signing for fork PRs without formatting changes, reducing unnecessary signing overhead and accelerating the review process. By streamlining CI runs and minimizing redundant checks, the work improved developer efficiency and reduced CI noise, resulting in a smoother contributor experience and faster code review cycles for the project.
