Worked on optimizing the release process for the rancher/turtles repository by refactoring the release script to leverage Go’s 'go generate' tool for automated artifact generation. This approach streamlined the release workflow, reducing manual intervention and aligning with CI/CD best practices to improve efficiency and reproducibility. Focused on DevOps and scripting, the work enhanced the consistency and reliability of Rancher releases by automating key steps in the pipeline. Utilized Go and Shell scripting to deliver a solution that shortens release cycles while maintaining quality, demonstrating a strong grasp of release engineering and automation within a modern development environment.
