During April 2025, Mbar enhanced the Esri/abseil-cpp repository by expanding test coverage for the ABSL_RAW_DCHECK and ABSL_RAW_DLOG macros. Focusing on C++ development and testing, Mbar implemented new test cases to verify correct compilation, runtime behavior, and termination paths in debug builds. This work improved the reliability and visibility of macro behavior, enabling earlier detection of regressions and safer releases. By targeting both success and failure scenarios, Mbar’s contributions strengthened the guarantees provided by these critical macros, reducing risk for downstream users and tightening release quality. The depth of testing reflects a thorough and methodical engineering approach.
