During November 2024, Miquel implemented Catalan localization support for the Jellyfin UI in the jellyfin/jellyfin repository, enabling Catalan-speaking users to access the interface in their native language. He established a Weblate-driven translation workflow, integrating JSON-based translation files and leveraging Git for version control and traceability. This work focused on internationalization and UI localization, expanding accessibility and laying the groundwork for future language support. While no bugs were addressed during this period, the feature improved user experience for a broader audience. The depth of the contribution lies in both the technical integration and the process foundation for ongoing localization efforts.
