Worked on improving authentication user experience and stability in the payloadcms/payload repository, focusing on front end development using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Addressed a bug in the login form by correcting the "forgot your password?" link, ensuring it directed users to the proper /forgot-password route and eliminating 404 errors during password recovery. The solution involved debugging template routing and updating navigation across ecommerce templates, with collaborative peer review to ensure consistency. This work enhanced the password reset process for end users and established a foundation for future UX improvements, emphasizing careful attention to detail and collaborative problem-solving in codebase maintenance.
