Mel expanded end-to-end test coverage for blob data handling in the chromaui/chromatic-e2e repository, focusing on the createObjectUrl functionality. They implemented comprehensive tests that validate blob URL creation, data fetching, and display within the web application, and developed a new fixture page to support these scenarios. Using JavaScript and TypeScript, Mel established fixture-based scaffolding to ensure reliability and reproducibility of blob-related tests. This work improved release readiness by enabling early detection of regressions in blob-related UI flows, reducing manual QA effort, and lowering support risk. All changes were tracked with clear commit traceability, reflecting disciplined engineering practices.
