In June 2025, Mauro Ferrari developed automated web app routing for AKS clusters in the Azure/telescope repository, focusing on DNS zone management and role-based access control. He used Terraform and HCL to map DNS Zone IDs and assign the DNS Zone Contributor role to the AKS identity, streamlining DNS integration and reducing manual configuration. The implementation included unit tests to ensure reliability and prevent regressions, supporting secure and efficient deployments. By leveraging Azure and Kubernetes, Mauro’s work improved deployment speed and security posture, demonstrating depth in infrastructure as code and automation for cloud-native environments within a short project timeframe.
