Worked on the ITS-HCD/nysds repository to enhance build reliability and performance for Windows environments. Delivered two features focused on improving Windows build compatibility by addressing npm script path resolution and enabling cross-env for environment variable management. Developed a Windows-friendly lit-analyze workflow, making analysis non-blocking and restricting its scope to specific directories, which reduced build times and improved CI feedback. Utilized JavaScript and Node.js to implement these changes, emphasizing cross-platform development and build automation. The work resulted in more reliable Windows builds and a smoother developer experience, demonstrating a practical approach to optimizing build tools and package management workflows.
January 2026 — ITS-HCD/nysds: Windows-focused build reliability and performance enhancements. Delivered two key features: Windows Build Compatibility Improvements and Windows-friendly Lit-Analyze Workflow. Fixed Windows-specific issues including npm script path resolution and enabling NODE_ENV; made lit-analyze non-blocking and scoped to the nys directories, reducing build times. Result: more reliable Windows builds, faster CI feedback, and improved developer experience. Technologies demonstrated: Node.js/npm scripts, cross-env usage for environment variables, Windows environment handling, and CI-oriented analysis optimization.
