During January 2026, Rain Hides Pain developed an Etckeeper-compatible installation process for the MHSanaei/3x-ui repository, focusing on improving deployment traceability and configuration management. By updating the Bash-based installation script, Rain ensured that the x-ui database file is now properly version-controlled under etckeeper, supporting compliant server configuration and facilitating easier rollbacks in production environments. This work leveraged shell scripting and system administration expertise to align installation flows with best practices for change management. While the contribution was limited to a single feature over one month, it addressed a specific operational need and enhanced maintainability for system administrators deploying x-ui.
