Worked on the dbera/OfflineMBT repository to enhance backend API capabilities by enabling raw content handling and standardizing REST endpoints. Focused on improving interoperability and maintainability, the developer introduced proxy handler support for returning various content types, laying the groundwork for multi-content and non-JSON REST responses. A refactor established a constant for the files endpoint, reducing the risk of errors and promoting consistent usage across the codebase. Leveraging skills in FastAPI, Java, and backend development, the work delivered two concrete features that streamline future development and support broader content-type requirements, with clear, maintainable commits and no reported bug fixes during the period.
