In July 2025, Michaela enhanced the documentation user interface for the learningequality/kolibri-design-system repository by improving the visibility of active-state tabs. She focused on refining CSS theming and front-end development using Vue.js, adjusting color and background properties to make active tabs more distinguishable and accessible. Her work addressed clarity and accessibility concerns, ensuring users could easily identify the selected tab within documentation examples. Michaela’s approach emphasized adherence to design system standards and UI accessibility, resulting in more consistent and user-friendly documentation. While no major bugs were fixed, her targeted feature contributed to the overall polish and maintainability of the design system.
