Worked on stabilizing template management for the coder/coder CLI by addressing a critical issue in dynamic template generation. Focused on improving automation and reliability, the developer delivered a targeted bug fix that ensures consistent version naming during CLI template pushes. By making sure the template name is set before creating or assigning the template object, the fix prevents missing or misnamed versioned templates, reducing the need for manual validation and downstream debugging. This work, implemented in Go with a focus on CLI development, enhanced the reliability of template publishing workflows and laid groundwork for further automation improvements within the coder/coder repository.
