Developed an expense color status visualization feature for the softwareone-platform/optscale repository, enabling users to see real-time visual feedback on their spending relative to custom limits. Leveraging React and TypeScript, the implementation updated the logic determining color status for expenses, ensuring that visual cues accurately reflect user-defined thresholds. This work included correcting the underlying status calculation to provide consistent and reliable feedback, reducing confusion around budget limit breaches. The feature enhanced budgeting clarity and supported faster, data-driven decisions for users managing expenses. The approach demonstrated a focus on front end development best practices and attention to detail in user experience.
