Worked on the dgtlmoon/changedetection.io repository to enhance the stability of automated testing by implementing Selenium RemoteConnection timeout management. Leveraging Python and Selenium, introduced the use of ClientConfig for configuring connection timeouts, which addressed issues with flaky remote WebDriver connections during continuous integration runs. This configuration-driven approach improved the reliability of automation workflows and supported more scalable test executions. The work demonstrated a strong understanding of web development practices and effective use of Python for backend automation. By focusing on robust connection management, the changes contributed to smoother release cycles and reduced test instability in the project’s CI environment.
