Worked on the google/adk-python repository to implement open-source license header compliance, focusing on governance and audit readiness. The project involved adding Apache 2.0 license headers to 155 files without introducing any functional code changes, ensuring that all documentation and source files met Google OSPO requirements. Leveraged skills in version control and open-source compliance, using Python, JavaScript, and YAML to automate and verify the process. The license year was dynamically assigned based on each file’s first commit year, providing accurate attribution. All updates were merged as a chore commit, minimizing risk and maintaining the integrity of existing tests and features.
