Worked on the modal-labs/modal-client repository to deliver a configuration-aware enhancement for the Modal App’s command-line interface. Focused on ensuring that the list and dashboard commands respect user-defined configurations, this update improved the consistency and customization of CLI outputs. The solution was implemented as a patch, emphasizing traceability and maintainability by linking changes to a specific pull request. Leveraged Python and asynchronous programming techniques to integrate configuration management seamlessly into the CLI workflow. This work reduced onboarding complexity and potential support issues by aligning command behavior with user preferences, demonstrating a practical approach to CLI development and usability improvements.
