Worked on improving CI/CD reliability and release automation for the forcedotcom/sfdx-core repository, focusing on dependency management and build stability. Addressed a critical issue by implementing a policy to suppress automatic npm-dts dependency updates, which had caused CI/CD pipeline failures due to incompatibility with Node.js v18. Used YAML to configure the CI/CD workflow, ensuring that risky auto-bumps were ignored and reducing deployment risk. Applied DevOps best practices to enhance the predictability and resilience of the build process. The work resulted in a more stable dependency update workflow, minimizing disruptions and supporting consistent, reliable releases for the core repository.
