Leveraging Bash and shell scripting, the work introduced a setup script that checks dependencies, prompts for configuration, securely fetches agent settings from a remote API, and manages repository cloning and dependency installation. The implementation emphasized robust error handling, HTTP/HTTPS hardening, and support for redirects to ensure reliable deployments. By addressing endpoint correctness and edge cases, the solution reduced manual setup time and improved onboarding consistency, demonstrating strong skills in API integration, automation, and DevOps practices within a scripting environment.
