Developed expanded hardware support for ESPHome by adding a new MIPI DSI display driver for the M5Stack Tab5 (Rev2/V2), enabling broader device compatibility and streamlined integration for users. This work in the esphome/esphome repository involved implementing initialization sequences and configuration parameters for the updated driver chip, addressing hardware revision handling within embedded systems. Additionally, updated the esphome/esphome-docs repository to provide comprehensive documentation for the Tab5-V2, including detailed Markdown coverage of display driver configurations. Demonstrated technical proficiency in Python, driver development, and technical writing, while collaborating across repositories to improve both code quality and user onboarding.
