
Developed and integrated MPI-enabled continuous integration capabilities for the ROCm/TheRock repository, focusing on enhancing test coverage for ROCprofiler and related subprojects. Built and published a dedicated Docker image based on Ubuntu 24.04 with OpenMPI, then updated CI workflows and documentation to support MPI-based testing without bundling MPI in ROCm artifacts. Leveraged Docker, GitHub Actions, and Python to configure and validate mpi-ranks tests within the CI pipeline, ensuring MPI was properly discoverable and executable. This work improved the reliability and reproducibility of MPI workflows, while also updating contributor guidelines and documentation to reflect the new testing infrastructure.

CI results confirmed mpi-ranks tests execute and pass, validating end-to-end MPI test coverage with no MPI shipped in ROCm artifacts. This work advances test coverage, reliability, and reproducibility for MPI workflows, aligned with AIROCVAL-45.
