Giaco Bettini delivered Italian UI localization for the ghostty-org/ghostty repository, expanding accessibility for Italian-speaking users. Over the course of a month, he implemented and refined 1.3 IT_IT translations across core UI elements and status messages, iterating through three Git commits to incorporate feedback and add new strings. His work focused on internationalization and translation management, utilizing PO files and string-level updates to align with the project’s localization roadmap. While no bugs were fixed during this period, Giaco’s disciplined approach improved the product’s readiness for future multi-language support and demonstrated solid collaboration within a Git-based development workflow.
