Worked on the webex/widgets repository, delivering a targeted bug fix to improve the Webex Meetings join flow. Addressed an issue where the member name displayed during onboarding was not accurately reflecting the authenticated user’s identity, which previously led to user confusion. The solution involved updating the member name flow from the join prompt, ensuring synchronization with backend identity data. This patch enhanced the user experience by providing correct information at join time and potentially reducing support requests. The work demonstrated skills in front end development, JavaScript, and UI state management, focusing on precise debugging and minimal code changes for maintainability.
