Worked on the sonic-net/sonic-mgmt repository to enhance continuous integration reliability by implementing platform-based gating for Everflow policer tests on Cisco 8223 devices. Addressed a critical bug where unsupported policing features caused false test failures, ensuring tests now run only on compatible platforms. The solution involved updating YAML-driven test configurations and validating the gating logic across multiple hardware variants. Demonstrated skills in platform compatibility testing, test automation, and test case management, with a focus on collaborative code review. This targeted change reduced CI noise from unsupported scenarios and clarified platform coverage, contributing to more accurate and maintainable automated testing workflows.
