Worked on enhancing deployment configurability for the potiuk/airflow repository by improving the Airflow Helm chart. Focused on implementing valuesFrom support within gitSync.env, this work enabled the use of external values files for environment variables in the git-sync sidecar. By leveraging Helm and YAML, the solution allowed for externalized configuration, reducing reliance on hard-coded values and simplifying management across multiple environments. This approach improved both flexibility and security posture for Airflow deployments, demonstrating a strong understanding of DevOps practices and Kubernetes integration. The work addressed real-world deployment needs by making environment variable management more adaptable and maintainable.
