Upgraded libcava to version 0.10.4 and Waybar to an unstable release, ensuring users benefit from recent performance and usability improvements. Employed Nix for precise package management, implementing revision pinning for Waybar’s source fetch to guarantee reproducible builds. Temporarily disabled installation checks to facilitate early access to usability fixes in the unstable release, balancing innovation with reliability. The work centered on system configuration and package management, resulting in a seamless update process that maintained user experience while keeping core dependencies current and robust.
