During February 2025, Melon21 focused on improving the documentation experience for EPPlusSoftware/EPPlus by addressing issues with configuration previews in the project’s Readme. They enabled support for JSONC, allowing comments within JSON configuration examples, which previously caused preview errors. This involved changing the preview language from JSON to JSONC and updating the documentation to reflect this enhancement. Working primarily with Markdown and leveraging documentation best practices, Melon21 resolved a persistent bug that affected developer usability. The work was limited in scope but demonstrated careful attention to detail in documentation tooling, resulting in a more robust and user-friendly configuration preview process.
