Worked on the conan-io/conan-center-index repository to deliver a comprehensive upgrade and build modernization for the LightGBM library. Focused on updating LightGBM to version 4.6.0, the work involved removing outdated revisions, modernizing dependencies, and streamlining the build process using CMake and Python. Addressed vendor header conflicts and resolved linter warnings, resulting in cleaner packaging and improved maintainability. Incorporated code-review feedback to further refine the configuration and dependency management. These changes reduced maintenance overhead and enhanced release reliability, providing a more stable foundation for downstream integration by users who rely on LightGBM within the Conan Center Index ecosystem.
