Worked on the HL7/fhir repository to implement a new permission import attribute, focusing on strengthening access control and improving the clarity of permission definitions. Leveraging expertise in XML, FHIR, and data modeling, introduced this attribute along with comprehensive examples, constraints, and narrative documentation. The technical approach emphasized maintainability and clear onboarding guidance, reducing the risk of misconfiguration for future contributors. By enhancing both the codebase and its supporting documentation, established a scalable foundation for policy-driven access control across FHIR resources. This work laid important groundwork for more robust permission management using XML Schema and domain-specific modeling within the repository.
