Worked on the opensanctions/opensanctions repository to deliver a feature that categorizes local councillors by Australian state, enriching the dataset for local government roles. Focused on enhancing data management and government data categorization, the work involved extensive YAML configuration to introduce new categories and improve the precision of search and filtering capabilities. This update allows users to query local government data with greater accuracy and supports more detailed reporting. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as efforts centered on data curation and enrichment. The approach demonstrated attention to structured data modeling and careful handling of government datasets.
