Worked on the AstroNvim/astrocommunity repository to upgrade the editor experience by replacing an outdated Vim plugin with a Treesitter-based solution for syntax highlighting and formatting. Focused on improving code parsing reliability and reducing formatting regressions, the work involved removing the legacy kaarmu/typst.vim plugin and configuring Treesitter integration to align with modern LSP-based tooling. Leveraged skills in Neovim, plugin development, and Lua to implement and document these changes, resulting in more consistent formatting and enhanced productivity for users. The update addressed longstanding formatting issues and ensured that the editor’s capabilities matched current development standards and workflows.
