Worked on the bpg/terraform-provider-proxmox repository to deliver a hardware mapping enhancement focused on supporting nested USB hubs in Proxmox deployments. Used Go for backend development, extending the USB path regular expression to accommodate additional hub levels and implementing a fix to ensure correct mapping in complex USB topologies. Added dedicated unit tests to validate the new behavior, emphasizing thorough test coverage and reliability. This work improved the accuracy of hardware provisioning and reduced the need for manual configuration, demonstrating a disciplined approach to Go-based provider development and a focus on maintainability and correctness in infrastructure automation workflows.
