Worked on the common-voice/common-voice repository to expand localization capabilities by adding new language variants for Chichewa and Sundanese, including support for regional Sundanese dialects. Used TypeScript and data modeling to structure language data, ensuring maintainability and traceability through well-documented commits. Focused on language data management to improve inclusivity and user experience, particularly for emerging markets. The approach aligned with internationalization strategies to broaden global reach, addressing the need for accurate and accessible language support. The work delivered one new feature, emphasizing careful integration of localization enhancements without introducing bugs, and demonstrated a methodical approach to repository contribution and code quality.
