Worked on LifeSG’s react-design-system repository, delivering six new features and a bug fix focused on enhancing user experience and API clarity. Developed fullscreen image carousel improvements, including a delete action and refined spacing, and introduced a File Info Bar supporting robust file metadata display. Added a Custom Content Slot and expanded carousel item capabilities with stricter type constraints, improving component scalability and maintainability. Updated cross-repo dependencies for better compatibility in the web-frontend-engine. Leveraged React, TypeScript, and styled-components to ensure stable, testable UI components, resulting in clearer metadata presentation, streamlined onboarding, and reduced maintenance for future frontend development.
