In February 2025, Jaz Zainal enhanced the visual spacing of the Loading Spinner component in the LifeSG/react-design-system repository. Focusing on front end development, Jaz used React, Styled Components, and CSS to adjust spinner padding and update configuration for improved layout consistency. The work included updating assets to higher resolution and refining margins, addressing layout drift and supporting faster iteration for consumer applications. By leveraging token-driven spacing and maintaining clean commit practices, Jaz demonstrated attention to design-system governance and UI polish. No bugs were fixed during this period, and the contribution was limited in scope but executed with technical precision.
